Teka, sponsor of Argiñano Racing Team (Moto2).
Teka Group, sponsor of Argiñano Racing Team, ameliorates its participation in Moto2 worldwide competition due to the new careen protection of AJR motorbike and the skill and dexterity of Ricky Cardús, the Spanish pilot. A big effort has been made since this new motorbike reaches AJR team’s facilities, after GP France, in order to run with this careen already installed, created by the team. This AJR motorbike is still greathearted behaving after scoring the first point in Estoril (Portugal).
TEKA, a brand with a sporting spirit
We want to be on the side of those who win, and of those who dare to dream to win. We like to support everybody´s everyday effort to improve themselves. We have always loved sports, and thus the TEKA group pioneered sporting sponsoring more than four decades ago. Racing Santander was the first soccer team to be sponsored by Teka. That brand was the logo that Teka used in the seventies. Since then, we have not stopped supporting the world of sports, including the Handball Club Cantabria or the Teka Pro Cycling Team.
Teka Suzuki Mundial MX
Our sponsorship of MX motorcycles Teka Suzuki team in the year 2008 could not have started any better. We made it to the podium thanks to our champion Steve Ramon. We decided to keep and extend our sponsorship, and to help organize the World Racing Series, culminating in another win for the Teka Suzuki team. With a great following all around the world, and extremely popular in Northern and Central Europe, this type of motorcycling racing is extremely demanding and competitive, the driver has to be exceedingly strong to navigate through a muddy, irregular circuit filled with sharp curves. The Teka Suzuki World Championship takes place in fourteen countries, and there are fifteen stages.
BWR (Barcelona World Race)
On december 31st, 2010, Barcelona hosted the most important sporting event in recent times, an event unique: the Barcelona World Race. The best professional sailors from around the world were to circumnavigate the planet in three months, with no help and nonstop. From Barcelona to Barcelona, passing by the Cape of Good Hope and Leeuwin, the teams were to race against each other for three months in the most hostile conditions. With a crew of two, the teams could rest regularly and have some time for the ship´s maintenance, taking it to its very limit. Teka gave its support to this unique, most demanding sporting event, and arrived second to the finish line.
Teka &l Real Madrid Club de Futbol
If there was ever a partnership to which we are still associated nowadays, it is the eight year (from 1992 to 2001) sponsorship of the Real Madrid Football Club. We are proud to have been part of something so big: two European Championships, one Spanish Liga… Raul, Zidane, Figo, Casillas… These are names that are part of Football history, and forever linked to the Teka brand.
